From I-10 going West (as if coming from Mobile, Picayune, or Slidell)
Slidell is 25 miles from New Orleans. As you come into the city, you will come up on the "high rise" bridge, make your way to the far right lane on the bridge,
Exit - As you crest the bridge, the exit for the seminary will be seen (Louisa Street, Exit 239). Exit to the right. At the bottom of the exit ramp take a Left and immediately move to the far right lane.
Take a Right at the traffic light (intersection of Old Gentilly and Louisa) and immediately move to the left lane. On your right will be an Exxon Station and on your left will be a Payless Shoe Store.
Take a Left at the traffic light (intersection of Louisa and Chef Menteur / Gentilly Blvd.)
Continue through the next traffic light (about 2 blocks, intersection of Gentilly Blvd. Press). The seminary campus will be on your right. Providence Guest House will be on your left, just before the Chevron station and Church's Fried Chicken.
From I-10 East. Stay on I-10 East from the airport for about 10 miles, gradually make your way to the center lane. The airport is 16 miles from the NOBTS campus.
Merge left onto I-610 (sign will say Slidell). Do not take I-10 to downtown.
Exit - Take the Elysian Fields Ave. exit (Exit 3 - exit to the right).
Left - At the bottom of the exit ramp, there is a traffic light. Turn left onto Elysian Fields.
RIGHT - Gradually make your way to the right lane. After several blocks you will come to a major intersection with Gentilly Blvd. (on your right will be the Walgreens Drug Store, on your left will be a small shopping area, and across the street will be a Gentilly Service Station). Turn RIGHT onto Gentilly Blvd. Gradually make your way to the left lane. Watch your spreed through the school zone!
CONTINUE - After several blocks, you will go under a railroad underpass and the seminary will be on your left. Providence Guest House will be on your right after Church's Fried Chicken and the Chevron station.
